Short and simple: Originally assembled in March 2011 as part of Number 21 and further modified on a trip north in July 2011. After a few years of testing, Number 21’s pilot and navigator, Bay Area noise musician Horseflesh and I decided that we could do better with the box, so he shipped it east for an overhaul. Opting for a knob-based drone instrument instead of the usual Ciat-Lonbarde inspired chaos of my earlier builds, I gutted the patch bay section of the instrument. Not wanting to see this circuit go to waste, I rehoused it in a wooden frame inspired by the TicoTronics builds and reconfigured the banana jacks to work with standard EuroRack gear as chaotic CV controllers. A few tests in, I think we may be onto something here. Not to mention it looks fancy.
